Some people have really, really big hearts. Julie is one of them. She writes a blog, Engaged With A Cause, in an attempt to create an online resource for anyone wanting to give back with their wedding.
Recently, Julie was kind enough to feature just b.CAUSE on her blog. I was not only humbled, but also greatly impressed with her writing abilities. She does a great job weaving information with narrating, and you can tell she puts a lot of thought and effort into her blog posts.
For someone who spends countless hours on the computer researching various non-profit efforts and cause-worthy wedding ideas, I applaud Julie’s research abilities and her commitment to helping others.
“So, it’s no surprise that I now work in development for a non-profit- planning events for others, something I enjoy very much. Now that it’s time to plan my own wedding, however, I’ve become what my mom and bridesmaids are calling- Guiltzilla. That’s not to say that we aren’t really excited about our wedding day, or that one should feel guilty about having the wedding of their dreams, just that we do. I spend my work day trying to scrape money together for a not-for-profit, so I am reminded frequently how hard fundraising dollars can be to come by.” Read More
